The modern campground at Interlochen State Park on Duck Lake is divided into north and south loops. Most sites are generous in size, shaded by oaks, maples, and virgin pine, with many offering views of Duck Lake. The virgin pine stand is one of the few remaining in the state. Features include modern restrooms, accessible restrooms in the beach house, a sandy swimming beach between the loops, two boat launches (one in the south loop and one near the park store), picnic tables, and fire rings. Some sites have 30/50 amp electric service. Reservations required via 800-447-2757 or online. Additional Info: - 490 total campsites in the park (59 rustic, remainder modern). - Concession store available. - Weekly nature programs in summer.
