Dry Gulch Campground
About this site
Dry Gulch Campground is located 17 miles west of Gunnison in the Curecanti National Recreation Area near U.S. Highway 50. The campground features large cottonwood trees providing shade and can accommodate tents or medium-sized RVs. All sites are first-come first-served. A horse corral is available. The terrain consists of open spaces with sparse vegetation and rocky formations. Elevation is 7,560 feet. Nearby attractions include the Blue Mesa Reservoir and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Temperatures range from 30°F in winter to 80°F in summer.
