Douglas Tailwater Campground is located on the tail end of Douglas Dam by the banks of the French Broad River near Kodak, Tennessee. This popular waterfront campground offers 61 sites, most directly on the river, suitable for tents and RVs. It provides water and electric hookups, showers, drinking water, toilets, picnic tables, and allows fires. Reservable sites with ADA access and trash service available. Excellent for trout fishing below the dam, 20 miles from Pigeon Forge and 30 miles from Gatlinburg. Additional Info: Operated by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Clean facilities and quiet atmosphere praised by campers. Accommodates large RVs up to at least 38 feet.
