Douglas Creek Recreation Area offers 20 primitive campsites with picnic tables and grills, vault restrooms, boat ramp, and courtesy dock. Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, it provides easy access to Lake Sakakawea and is free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Pet-friendly with lakefront location, ideal for fishing walleye and pike.
