Doris Lake Recreation Site
About this site
Located near Smithers and east of Babine Mountains Provincial Park on the shores of Doris Lake sits this semi-open, forested, 4 unit campsite. The access road is a tight turn off Babine Lake road with a short and steep approach into the site as well as a challenging exit back onto Babine Lake Road, it isn't suitable for RV's/trailers. The site has a small boat launch and beach area which allows for swimming, boating and fishing. Cutthroat trout are the predominant species in the lake. The road is often busy with logging traffic, a VHF radio with Resource Road channels is recommended for travel here.
