Donkey Creek Campground is a rustic Forest Service campground located in the Marble Creek watershed of Idaho Panhandle National Forests, administered by the St. Joe Ranger District. The campground is situated in remote backcountry southwest of Avery in Shoshone County, accessed via Forest Service Road 321 approximately 5.6 miles south of the FSR 321 and FSR 396 intersection. It offers basic amenities for tent camping and smaller RVs in a primitive forest setting. The campground operates seasonally, typically from late spring through early fall, and is closed during winter months due to snow and road conditions. Access requires travel on forest roads that may be rough or challenging for larger vehicles. The area provides opportunities for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing in the surrounding national forest lands. Additional Info: Total sites: 2. Amenities include vault toilets and fire rings.
