Doney Lake RD-002 is a dispersed wild camping site in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest near Doney Lake, an irrigation reservoir with no fish. The area features a rustic cabin popular for hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. No electricity, water, or sewer services. Outhouse near cabin. Water from Doney Lake not recommended for drinking or swimming. Remote location, approximately 15 miles from Gold Creek exit off I-90 between Deer Lodge and Drummond.
