Dogwood Day Use Picnic Area, in Big Cottonwood Canyon is conveniently close to Salt Lake City. Big Cottonwood Creek runs alongside the site. Visitors enjoy fishing, hiking and biking. Dogwood offers several group picnic sites, all with tables, campfire rings and grills. Parking spurs and pathways within the area are paved. Flush toilets are provided. This picnic site is open seasonally and operated by a Concessionaire. No pets allowed. No swimming/wading allowed. Additional Info: Day Use: $38.23 per site per day (1-16 people), $57.81 per site per day (1-24 people), $83.92 per site per day (1-32 people). Potable water is not available.
