L.A. County’s only recreational vehicle campground ON THE BEACH! RV campers can enjoy sunshine, ocean breezes, and a scenic panorama from Malibu to Catalina Island. There’s plenty to do and lots to enjoy at the Dockweiler RV Park. For starters, this popular, year-round beach campsite offers complete hook-ups for RVs and hot showers. Each campsite, whether for an RV or camper van, has its own picnic table and barbecue, so you can enjoy your stay. And, of course, Dockweiler State Beach and the ocean are only a few steps from your vehicle’s door. VAN CONVERSIONS are allowed but MUST have all the following: - a bed - dinette - sink - water supply **NOTE:** Campervan rentals are allowed, but converted SUVs with aftermarket tents on racks are not allowed. In fall 2020, the County broke ground on an expansion of the Dockweiler RV Park to increase equitable access to overnight accommodations along our coast. The expansion added lower-cost spaces reserved specifically for campervans. Each of the 19 campervan spaces incorporates a picnic table. The project also included expansion of restrooms and outdoor wash stations and improvement of existing laundry facilities to support the increased capacity for overnight visitors.
