Diamond Lake County Park is a county park on Diamond Lake adjacent to Manistee National Forest offering 60 campsites (24 full hookups with water, sewer, electric; 36 electric-only), 4 camping cabins, swimming beach, volleyball, play areas, horseshoes, hiking trails, picnic area, enclosed shelter, sanitation station, showers, toilets, and nearby boat launch. Operates May 1 to October 11. Newaygo County Parks Motor Vehicle Permits required: Daily $8, 3-Day $24, Annual $35, Regional $60. Non-camper sanitation station use $25. Phone: (231) 689-1190 during season, (231) 689-7340 off-season. Additional Info: Access to Birch Grove Trail and North Country National Scenic Trail. ORV-friendly with motor vehicle passes required.
