Devils Alley Hiker-Biker Campsite is a free, first-come-first-served backpacking campsite located at canal milepost 144 along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal towpath in Maryland. The site is one of 31 free hiker-biker campsites in the C&O Canal National Historical Park and is accessible only by hiking or biking the towpath. It borders Green Ridge State Forest to the north and is situated near the Potomac River. The campsite features a chemical toilet, picnic table, grill, and water pump (water treated with iodine; turned off November 15–April 15). Stays are limited to one night per site per trip. Campfires are allowed only in established fire rings. All trash must be packed out. The site is known for being relatively remote and is popular with cyclists touring the canal.
