DETROIT STATE PARK (Campground) Additional Info: Detroit Lake State Recreation Area is one of the largest campgrounds in the Oregon State Parks system with over 270 campsites located on the shore of Detroit Lake, a nine-mile-long reservoir in the Cascade Mountains. The campground features 107 full hookup sites with electricity, water, and sewer; 68 sites with water and electric hookups; and 96 tent sites. Eight ADA-accessible sites are available. Amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, basketball court, volleyball area, playground, two boat ramps, two reservable boat moorages, and a fishing dock. The park typically operates from mid-March through October. Generators are not permitted. No dump station is available for those without hookups.
