Historic Methodist camp ground established in 1860 on 35 acres along the Des Plaines River. Features more than one hundred wooden cottages arranged in concentric circles around a central tabernacle. The 1903 Waldorf Tabernacle incorporates steel trusses creating an unobstructed span of 110 feet. The camp ground serves as a center for religious gatherings, lectures, and musical events throughout the summer months, with facilities accessible through Campground Road.
