Deam Lake State Recreation Area

Deam Lake State Recreation Area is an Indiana DNR-managed campground situated within 1,300 acres of forested terrain surrounding a 194-acre lake. The facility features 215 sites accommodating both RV and tent camping. The lake is restricted to electric motors only and offers opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The campground includes horse trails, a beach area, and a boat launch. Modern restrooms and shower houses are available. The campground operates year-round with full hookups available. Generators are not allowed. Horses are not allowed in the regular campground (sections D, E, and F) or on Main Road.
