Cypress Glen Campground is located within the Croom Tract of Withlacoochee State Forest (Hernando County), a short 5-mile drive from I-75. On the shore of Silver Lake, which is part of the Withlacoochee River system, this campground is part of the Silver Lake Recreation Complex. The campground contains 34 sites (#24-57) in the Silver Lake Recreation Area. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring with grate and/or a grill. There is 1 bathhouse at Cypress Glen. The dump station is located in Silver Lake Campground. Recreational activities nearby include boating, paddling, watersports, wildlife viewing, bicycling, hiking, and fishing. Additional Info: Full-facility and primitive camping are available. Sites are level with gravel spots and spacious layouts with plenty of trees. Electric hookups and drinking water are available. Pets are not allowed.
