Located one-half mile from Custer State Park's west entrance, the campground is situated on the location where General Custer's expedition camped in 1874. Custer's Gulch features basic and deluxe camping cabins, a family cabin, tent spots, and spacious, full-service RV sites with 20/30/50-amp back-in or pull-thru options. Resort amenities include free Wi-Fi, a clubhouse with kitchen facilities, store, shower house, flush toilets, dump station, laundry facilities, picnic tables, and fire grates. Additional Info: The park is open May through early October (weather permitting). Located less than 3 miles from Custer City and near major attractions including Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and scenic drives through the Black Hills.

Absolutely beautiful campground. The sites are large with full hookups. Big rig friendly. They have some pull through sites & utility trailer parking if needed. The grass is thick & green. It’s quiet. A few cabins available & designated tent sites. We’ve camped 2 yrs in a row there. Easy access to Custer State Park, short drive into the city of Custer. About 25 minutes to Mt. Rushmore.
