Free boondocking campground at Crystal Forest Gift Shop, just outside the south entrance to Petrified Forest National Park. Features approximately 20 spots, some outlined in petrified wood with picnic tables; 7 gravel level sites. No drinking water, showers, or toilets. Some electric hookups available (may be off-season or prioritized for Harvest Hosts). No tent camping. Check with gift shop before parking; open year-round but shop closes around 5 PM.
