Crosswinds Campground Loop B

Crosswinds Campground is a seasonal campground at Jordan Lake State Recreation Area managed by the Army Corps of Engineers, open January through early October. The campground features three camping loops (A, B, and C) with approximately 170 sites spread across wooded terrain. Loop B includes a large sandy beach and swimming area with direct lake access. Sites offer a mix of full hookups and primitive options. Loop B experiences noise from Highway 64 traffic, while Loop C sits closer to the water with less road noise. Waterfront sites (32, 34, 36) are available in Loop C. The campground is located 30 minutes from Raleigh and accommodates both tent and RV camping, including double sites for larger groups.
