CROOKED RIVER (Campground) Additional Info: Crooked River Campground #3 is a primitive, no-fee USFS site in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests at an elevation of 3,960 feet. It features one camp pad with a toilet, well-screened by tall, dense timber and located across the road from the main Crooked River Campground. No potable water is available on-site; campers must pack in all supplies and pack out all trash. The site provides access to Crooked River for fishing opportunities. Winter access may be limited or impossible due to snow accumulation at this elevation.
