Crestline Group Campground is located in a wooded area on Palomar Mountain at 5,390 feet elevation in Cleveland National Forest. It accommodates groups of up to 50 people with picnic tables, cooking area, and an accessible vault toilet. RVs up to 27 feet can be accommodated. No electricity. It serves as a base for visiting Palomar Observatory and Palomar Mountain State Park, with nearby hiking, biking, and picnicking.
