About this site

Craggy Wash BLM is a free dispersed camping area managed by the Bureau of Land Management, located a few miles north of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It offers primitive boondocking with no amenities or hookups, accessible via dirt roads suitable for most RVs at lower elevations. A 14-day stay limit applies, with requirements to pack out trash, leash pets, and avoid quiet hours for generators. Popular for off-road trails and scenic desert views, but expect dust from ATVs on weekends. Seasonal closure in Blankenship Wash area (about 1.5 miles north) from Jan 1 - June 30 to protect bighorn sheep lambing. Additional Info: BLM Lake Havasu Field Office: 2610 Sweetwater Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406. Phone: (928) 505-1200 or 888-213-2582.
