Cowlington Point is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground located on the Arkansas River at Robert S. Kerr Pool near Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The campground contains 38 campsites with water and electric hookups available (no sewer hookups). Amenities include two boat ramps, courtesy docks, a playground, volleyball court, group picnic site, showers, and toilets. The area is known for excellent fishing opportunities including crappie, sand bass, catfish, and black bass. Boating, kayaking, and hiking trails are popular activities. Gates open at 6AM and close at 10PM. Check-in is at 6PM and check-out at 3PM. Quiet hours are 10PM to 6AM. Pets are allowed. Camping is permitted in designated campsites only, with each site limited to 1 wheeled camping unit and up to 3 tents.
