Cowan Lake State Park Campground offers a generous selection of accommodations, with 254 campsites and 21 fully equipped cabins nestled in a scenic natural setting. Pets are permitted on all campsites and select cabins. The campground features electric sites (50, 30, or 20-amp service), full hook-up sites with sewer, and non-electric sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Amenities include 2 shower houses, flush toilets, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Some campsites are ADA compliant. A commissary offers camping supplies, fishing bait, snacks, ice cream, and grilled food items. Bike and kayak rentals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cowan Lake is a no-wake lake (10 HP limit) ideal for canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The park is open seasonally, with limited services from November 1 to April 1. Preferred cabins feature fully-equipped kitchens, furnished living rooms, bathrooms with showers, heat and A/C, and sleep up to 6 people.
