Experience the magnificence of the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area from the waters and shorelines of the Cove Recreation Site, a popular place to fish, hike, view wildlife, boat, waterski, swim and picnic. Additional Info: Cove Recreation Site is BLM's only improved public camping facility within the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area. This fee site is first come, first served. Facilities include potable water (seasonal), picnic shelters, fire rings, picnic tables, fishing docks, RV dump station, and small boat ramp. A seasonal camp host is often on site during summer months. Fishing is the main attraction with species including trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, yellow perch, channel catfish, bullhead, and sturgeon.
