The recreation site is located on the west end of Cougar Lake. The lake is small and is a popular spot for fishing. Additional Info: The small campground includes three campsites. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, and access to pit toilets. A roof-top boat launch is available at the lake for fishing Rainbow Trout. The site is accessed via Bowers Lake Forest Service Road, approximately 12 km east from the main road.
