Cougar Island is a backcountry boat-in campsite in Ross Lake National Recreation Area, part of the North Cascades National Park Complex. A permit is required for camping. It is one of 25 boat-in camps along the shorelines, accessible by boat when lake levels are above 1,096 feet (typically May to October).
