This dispersed campground area is north of Caribou developed campground on the left side of North Fork road. It is situated alongside the North Fork of the Big Wood River. Offers multiple dispersed sites, some directly on the riverbanks. Access to hiking trails leading to Amber Lakes, Window Lake, and the Hemingway-Boulder Wilderness Area. Additional Info: Dispersed camping on government land. Pack in and pack out. No services available. Occupancy limit is 10 days in a 30 day period within a 30 mile radius for all of SNRA.
