About this site

19 individual yellow post camping sites in San Bernardino National Forest, available on a first-come-first-serve basis with no reservations. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. Most sites are shaded by pine trees, with a few near seasonal Coon Creek. Picnic tables available (1 table per site). Fire rings present but campfire permits required for any type of fire use; campfires may not be allowed certain times of year. No restrooms or potable water available. Elevation 7,080 feet. Accessed via forest road Coon Creek Jump Off 1N02 off Highway 38 between Barton Flats and Onyx Summit. Open year-round. Valid California Campfire Permit required.
