Coon Creek Yellow Post Site #6 is one of 19 free, first-come-first-served individual campsites designated by the San Bernardino National Forest's Mountaintop Ranger District, located along Forest Road 1N02 near Highway 38. Accessible by vehicle (2WD to site 10, 4WD/high clearance recommended beyond). Each site limited to 8 persons maximum and 2 vehicles maximum. Amenities include picnic table and fire ring. No toilets, drinking water, showers, or hookups. Open year-round with 14-day camping limit. Valid California Campfire Permit required for fire ring or stoves, subject to restrictions.
