Coon Creek Yellow Post Site #17 is one of 19 individual first-come-first-served campsites in San Bernardino National Forest, accessed via Forest Road 1N02 off Hwy 38. Sites are shaded by pine trees, some near seasonal Coon Creek, and sites 17-19 are near the Pacific Crest Trail in Sand to Snow National Monument. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles per site. Amenities include picnic table and fire ring. Open year-round with a 14-day camping limit. Valid California Campfire Permit required; subject to fire restrictions. No toilets, drinking water, showers, or hookups.
