Coon Creek Yellow Post Sites offers 19 individual designated campsites along Forest Road 1N02 in San Bernardino National Forest, near Big Bear City and Sand to Snow National Monument. Each site accommodates a maximum of 8 persons and 2 vehicles, available first-come, first-served with no reservations. Amenities include picnic tables and fire rings at each site. No toilets, drinking water, showers, or other facilities are provided. A valid California Campfire Permit is required for fire ring use, subject to seasonal restrictions. Open year-round with a 14-day camping limit. Sites 1-10 are accessible by 2WD vehicles including large RVs; sites 15-19 require 4WD high clearance due to rough road conditions.
