Converse Basin Grove is one of the largest groves of giant sequoias in the world, covering over 4,600 acres in the Giant Sequoia National Monument. Dispersed camping is allowed in the grove; check with the Hume Lake Ranger District office. No drinking water is available. Nearest developed campground is Princess Campground on Highway 180. Features include the Boole Tree Trail, Chicago Stump Trail, and Stump Meadow.
