Colonel Denning State Park is a 273-acre woodland park in north-central Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, featuring a 3.5-acre lake and a 49-site campground for tent and trailer camping. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include restrooms with warm showers, a sanitary dump station, and designated pet-friendly sites. Firewood and ice are available for purchase from the campground host. The campground is open from the opening day of trout season through the day after rifle deer season in December. Additional Info: Reservations available via ReserveAmerica. Playground available in the campground area. Pets permitted on designated sites.

This is a very good spot to camp not too far from the Philadelphia area. The campground is clean, quiet, and has good facilities. There are some super cool hikes with surprising lookouts along the Appalachian trail.
