Codorniz Campground on Eastman Lake has 65 single-family campsites (35 with electric hookups) tucked in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Wildcat campground serves as an overflow and has 19 additional campsites. Equestrian campsites (and stalls) are also available. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and dump station. There's also a variety of other amenities at the Codorniz Recreation area including picnic areas, boat ramp, horseshoes, volleyball, mixed-used trails, a playground, and WiFi at the camp office. Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting and picnicking. There's also an abundance of wildlife to see in the area. Additional Info: The campground is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground is open year-round.
