NOTE: This campground may not open for the 2022 season, please check back for updates.Coaldale Campground is located on the banks of Hayden Creek and is a small, quiet campground . Most of the campsites are walk-in sites with small parking areas. The area is thick with gamble oak, juniper, and cottonwood trees. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $25 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 for third vehicle Day Use: $10 per day if not camping overnight Additional Info: Coaldale Campground has 10 campsites, with sites 1-5 designated as walk-in tent sites and sites 6-10 having small parking pads unsuitable for large RVs. Vault toilets are available only during peak season. No potable water is available at the campground; water can be obtained at nearby Hayden Creek Campground 1 mile south. This is a first-come, first-served campground in bear country; proper food storage is required.
