A 12 acre lake with facilities that include camping (22 units with hookup for water and electricity); picnicking(8 units with tables and grills), a pavilion designed for 25-30 people, an rave dump station; flush toilets and hot showers; a one mile hiking trail around the lake; and an amphitheater. Open all year Additional Info: As of September 2025, even-numbered campsites can be reserved in advance through Recreation.gov, while odd-numbered sites remain first-come, first-served. Potable water is not currently available; campers must bring their own drinking water. The campground is nestled in Homochitto National Forest among rolling hills with pine and mixed hardwood trees. Four mountain bike and hiking trails begin within the recreation area. Boat trailers are prohibited. The nearby Okhissa Lake, a 1,075-acre impoundment located about 15 minutes away, offers additional fishing and water recreation.
