Clear Creek Reservoir Campground offers approximately 20 primitive campsites suitable for tents and RVs, located next to the 400+ acre reservoir off US 24 near Granite, Colorado. It features a vault toilet and is part of the Clear Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area, where camping is allowed only in designated areas. A boat ramp provides access for motorized boating May through September. Popular for fishing trout and tiger muskie, kayaking, and wildlife viewing including osprey, bald eagles, deer, and elk. Requires hunting/fishing license or SWA pass for ages 16+. Dispersed primitive camping available further west on CR 390 after private land. Additional Info: - Vault toilets present. - Fires allowed only in containment structures in designated areas. - Boat inspections required for zebra mussels. - Year-round access.
