CLARK MOUNTAIN CAMP (Campground) Additional Info: Clark Mountain Camp is a dispersed camping area located along the Clark Mountain/Orogrande Trailhead corridor in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. This primitive site sits atop a ridgeline accessed by a single-lane road, offering spectacular panoramic views to the south of the Orogrande drainage and to the north towards Chateau Rock. The area is popular with OHV enthusiasts and mountain bikers, with multiple trail systems radiating from the corridor. Campers can find dispersed camping spots along the trail in this high-elevation alpine setting. The site offers no developed amenities, and visitors must be self-sufficient. No potable water is available.
