Clam Beach County Park is located 7 1/2 miles north of Arcata (near McKinleyville) off HWY 101. It offers 13 first-come first-serve campsites (2 ADA accessible), three-night maximum stay, with picnic tables and fire rings. No showers or hookups. Features beach access from North Lot (with disability mat), South Lot, and Clam Beach Drive; access to Hammond Trail; pit toilets. $30 nightly camping fee. Popular for beachcombing, clamming, horseback riding, wildlife viewing. Adjacent to Little River State Beach.
