City of Dell Rapids Campground
About this site
The campground provides a rustic relaxing camping experience in our city limits but within a beautifully serene park along the Big Sioux River. The campground features 29 campsites with individual electric panels, access to water, and sewer (sites 16 - 29 only), a picnic table and a fire ring. The campground also features a shower house, playground, access to a newly installed recreational trail with a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Big Sioux River. The campground is also in close proximity to other scenic city parks and is within walking distance of historic downtown Dell Rapids. Additional Info: Located at the headwaters of the Dells channel that inspired the name Dell Rapids - south side of the Big Sioux River and west of South Garfield Avenue. Offers tent and RV sites.
