Chorro Vista
About this site
Chorro Vista is a primitive backcountry campsite in Big Bend Ranch State Park, tucked against a north/south ridgeline on a sloping surface near deep canyons, offering wide open views of western and southern skies with excellent sunrises and sunsets. It has an eight-person and two-vehicle limit, with no water, electrical hookups, or dump stations available. Accessed via 4WD road from Sauceda Ranger Station. Features a fire ring and picnic table. Near Madrid Falls trailhead. Additional Info: Maximum stay per permit is 14 nights. Due to road conditions, motor homes and large RVs may not access. Showers and restrooms available at Sauceda Visitor Center.
