BLM Chopaka Lake Campground offers dispersed camping north of the Washington State DNR campground at Chopaka Lake. Access via Chopaka Mountain Road from Loomis. Features include picnic tables, toilets, drinking water, trash service, and phone service. Pets allowed. Fly fishing lake with hiking trails into Chopaka Mountain Wilderness Study Area. Practice Leave No Trace principles. Additional Info: BLM-managed site with open terrain, surrounding hills, and wildlife viewing opportunities including mule deer and bears. Trails from campground lead to ridges and Bowers Lake.
