Chipmunk Flat is a dispersed campground located just west of Sonora Pass along Highway 108 in Stanislaus National Forest at approximately 8,300 feet elevation. It features pullouts for parking amid large granite buttresses suitable for rock climbing. High elevation site, closed in winter.
