Chimney Creek Campground

Chimney Creek Campground is located within Chimney Peak Recreation Area in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains of Tulare County, California. The campground contains 36 sites nestled among pinyon pines, grey pines, and oaks along Chimney Creek at 5,700 feet elevation. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are available. Potable water is available seasonally during summer months near site 36. Open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees. Maximum stay is 14 days. Access via graded dirt Canebrake Road. Nearby trails include Pacific Crest Trail and Chimney Creek Trail.
