Chickahominy Recreation Site offers 28 campsites on the banks of Chickahominy Reservoir in central Oregon's high desert. The extensive valley is surrounded by foothills, distant buttes, and rough ridges, providing far-reaching views of open high desert country. Amenities include vault restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, a fish cleaning station, and a boat ramp. All sites feature gravel pads suitable for RVs, with a mix of pull-through and back-in configurations. The campground is first-come, first-served with a 14-day stay limit. Pets are allowed, and cell phone reception is available on most major networks. Peak season runs April through October; ice fishing is popular December through late February. Located on Highway 20 between Bend and Burns, approximately 32 miles west of Burns at milepost 100.
