Chickahominy Recreation Site offers 28 campsites on first-come, first-served basis at Chickahominy Reservoir, a popular fishing spot stocked with rainbow trout. Amenities include drinking water, vault restrooms, fish cleaning station, boat ramp, picnic area, and picnic shelter. The site is located in high desert surrounded by foothills with far-reaching views. Strong winds are common and shade is limited. Fishing peaks in June and September; ice fishing December to late February. 14-day stay limit. Additional Info: Managed by BLM Burns District Office. Camping fees $16 per vehicle per night (single car/truck/RV + towed vehicle); additional passenger vehicles $5/night. Pay at kiosk near entrance.
