Chewonki Campground

About this site

Located on 50 acres along the coast of Maine near the ocean and beaches, this mid-coast Maine family campground has 47 sites overlooking a saltwater inlet. Operated by the Brackett family since 1961, the campground features spacious waterfront camping with full hookups, a 60 X 40 filtered saltwater swimming pool, wading pool, clay tennis court, dump station, horseshoes, volleyball, kayak and canoe rentals, playground, rec hall, library, and small store. A nature path leads through a dense white pine forest to a point of land overlooking the saltwater inlet. Pets are welcome when leashed. Located near ocean beaches, lighthouses, museums, and other midcoast attractions.
