Chevelon Crossing Campground

Chevelon Crossing is a scenic and historic camping area. Built originally by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930 's, the campground is situated along Chevelon Creek. NO trash collection available. This is a pack-it-in / Pack-it-out area. Take your trash with you when you leave. Chevelon Crossing Campground also serves as the Long Draw North Trailhead for the Long Draw OHV trail. Chevelon Crossing Campground is not hosted and therefore NO FIRES are allowed when the forest is in fire restrictions. Additional Info: - Elevation: 6,300 feet. - 14-day stay limit. - Picnic tables available at sites. - Vault toilets available. - Generally open year-round.
