Cherry Valley Campground is located in a mixed conifer forested site near Cherry Lake. Each site has a picnic table, bear box, and a campfire pit with a grill. Vault toilets are available. Notice: No water service, so bring potable water. Please note there are no services or marina available at Cherry Lake. Additional Info: The campground sits at 4,908 feet elevation in Stanislaus National Forest, approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Cherry Valley Dam. It features 41 single-family sites and 5 double-family sites with paved roads and spurs. Drinking water and vault toilets are available. Pets are welcome with compliance to Tuolumne County leash laws. The campground is generally open from the last Friday in April through fall, with dates weather dependent. Access from Groveland via Cherry Lake Road is narrow and steep; the Cottonwood Road route from Tuolumne is recommended for RVs.
