Cherry Plain State Park encompasses 175 acres in the wooded Taconic Valley of Rensselaer County, centered on Black River Pond. The park features 30 campsites: 10 trailer sites for small RVs up to 15 feet, 10 lakeside tent sites, and 10 hike-in tent sites. Facilities include picnic areas, pavilions, playground, beach, boat launch, nature trails, showers, and restrooms. Reservations via ReserveAmerica; operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend.
